          The Hows of Us is a 2018 Philippine romantic drama film directed by Cathi Garcia Molina and starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

      It marked Garcia-Molina's second collaboration with Bernardo and Padilla after the 2014 film She's Dating the Gangster. 

    The film is the highest grossing Filipino film of all-time, grossing more than ₱601 million domestically in 20 days beating Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad's ₱571M box office gross. It is also the first Filipino film to breach the ₱600 million mark locally. The film is also one of the few films that reached $2 million marks abroad. The international gross revenue in 2 weeks (September 6 to 21) is $2.043 million as per TFC. As of September 26, the film has grossed around P650 million domestically in the Philippines while it earned an additional of $2.3 million box office gross from screenings outside the country.






     Daniel John Ford Padilla (born 26 April 1995) is a Filipino actor and recording artist. Padilla has been labelled as Philippine showbiz's "Teen King" and "King of Hearts". He made his television debut with a supporting role in soap opera Gimik 2010 (2010), before landing the lead role in Growing Up (2011). Padilla has starred in the most watch Filipino television programs of the year including Princess and I (2012-2013), Got to Believe (2013-2014) and Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015-2016). 

              He made her feature film debut as supporting cast in 2012 before starring in the top 10 highest-grossing Filipino films of the year including She's Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016) and Can't Help Falling in Love. Padilla has released three double platinum albums in Philippines including, self-titled mini-album Daniel Padilla (2012), DJP (2013), I Heart You (2014), gold record album I Feel Good (2015), and compilation album DJ' Greatest Hits (2016). He also held headlining concerts including Daniel Live! (2013) DOS (2014), Most Wanted (2015) and upcoming concert DJ Classics: Back at the Araneta (2017)






            Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo (born March 26, 1996) is a Filipino actress, model and recording artist. She became known for her role as Mara in the hit TV series Mara Clara (2010-2011). 

           She has since starred in TV series' Princess and I (2012-2013), Got to Believe (2013-2014), Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015-2016) and La Luna Sangre (2017-2018). She has also starred in different films such as Way Back Home (2011), Must Be... Love (2013), She's Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), Can't Help Falling in Love (2017) and The Hows of Us (2018).
